Sassy's puppies 3 days old!
Such sweet innocence at this age. What better way to welcome Spring when everything begins to come to life than with a new litter of beautiful healthy puppies. This litter is reserved as is our next litter. We are anticipating another beautiful litter from Jasmine approximately April 20th. We look forward to sharing the pictures as they grow.

Sassy's puppies have arrived!!!
Sassy was right on schedule, she delivered 3 beautiful healthy puppies early Tuesday morning April 7th. Sassy had a quick labor and easy delivery which is something every breeder worries about. I couldn't be more thrilled with the puppies. To be honest, I was expecting quite a colorful litter, to my surprise she had an all white girl, a tri colored girl and a white boy. Mom and babies are doing fantastic, Sassy is being quite protective, she keeps them tucked right under her and the puppies are quite content. She doesn't want me to hold them, don't you know she is the one who carried them for 63 days and gave birth, those are her babies and nobody else's. She is a fantastic little mama!!!!! Enjoy the pictures, they are pictured in the order of birth.

Romeo is here for a visit

Charlie, Kayla & Romeo

Romeo is our over night guest, he is the son of Charlie & Kayla, a repeat breeding we will be doing in May. He is 9 months old and a gorgeous boy with a personality to match. Just ask his mom, she adores her Romeo, and that is putting it mildly. He has the sweetest temperment, this is the first time he has been back to Cotton Blossoms and in the bottom picture I think maybe Kayla realizes Romeo is her boy. The pictures were taken outside of course, and it was a very windy day so they are all a bit wind blown.
As a breeder receiving pictures, updates and to actually see one of our babies again is the icing on the cake. Romeo has made himself right at home and is enjoying some play time with our gang.

Waiting Patiently!

Sweet Pea was Sassy & Charlie's puppy from her last litter. Such a beautiful precious little girl, we are very excited about this upcoming litter. We are down to less than a week to go and this last week seems like it lasts forever. With the anticipation and making sure all goes well, I must admit I get quite antsy waiting. Stay tuned I look forward to sharing the pictures of the puppies as they grow.

Maya's last night

Our little Maya is leaving us tomorrow. She is an absolute dollbaby and her new family can hardly wait to pick her up. Maya has the sweetest disposition, she goes with the flow and never really fusses over anything. She loves to runaround doing the zoomies, and she has the cutest little antics she definitely makes us laugh watching her play. I find her trying to get my adults to play with her.

What's New??
At Cotton Blossoms we are looking for looking forward to the month of April. We are expecting the Easter Bunny to make an early stop as Sassy is due April 7th. We are excited about this litter, it is a repeat breeding with Charlie and we are looking forward to a gorgeous basketfull of puppies. Jasmine was also to bred to our Charlie as well, this is their first breeding together, so we are quite excited. Jasmine is due approx April 20th, if she holds off until the 22nd she will be having them on her birthday, how special will that be. These litters are currently spoken for unless we end up with a surprise puppy or two. However, my vet has been right with every ultrasound she has done. In the meantime, we are enjoying the short time we have left with Maya & Sherman. Maya will be going to her new home on March 27th, and Sherman Easter weekend.

Tucker's Big Day - He is going home

Tucker left for his new home yesterday, these are the last pictures we took of him. I love the one of Chloe saying goodbye to her boy. I cannot ask for a better mom, her daughter Sassy, who is due in a few weeks has the same motherly instinct. As the table turns, now I will look forward to all the updates I receive as Tucker settles into his new home, and as he grows and matures. I cannot explain how it melts my heart to open my email and see an email regarding one of my puppies, receiving a quick update and pictures. The look on the puppies faces, as you can see how much they are loved and well cared for makes all the pain of letting them go that much easier.
The puppies are 10 wks old

The time is winding down now and they will all be leaving the nest. They are all such good babies, quiet as a mouse. They all seem to have good appetites and eat very well. Ella & Maya are petite girls while the boys are built like boys. Each are unique in their personalities Ella the little lover girl, Maya just as precious as can be, she seems to be able to entertain herself. Tucker, such a happy little guy, he is the one who would smile the most and didn't have a problem hamming it up for the camera. Sherman is a mellow boy, he has to be separated when it is mealtime or he will eat it all. He is quite the hoover. As allows we will be sad to see them go. However, the upside is seeing the look on each families faces when they come to pick their puppy up and take them home.
