Today is a very special day, Madison turns 13. He has been a huge contributer to our breeding program, 13 and still going strong. He is the daddy of Sherman, Tucker, Ella & Maya. The last litter for him and Chloe. We have several keepers as well from previous litters Madison has sired here at Cotton Blossoms. He will most definitely be treated like a king, but then again he is treated like a king everyday!!!!

Maya's last night
Our little Maya is leaving us tomorrow. She is an absolute dollbaby and her new family can hardly wait to pick her up. Maya has the sweetest disposition, she goes with the flow and never really fusses over anything. She loves to runaround doing the zoomies, and she has the cutest little antics she definitely makes us laugh watching her play. I find her trying to get my adults to play with her.

What's New??
At Cotton Blossoms we are looking for looking forward to the month of April. We are expecting the Easter Bunny to make an early stop as Sassy is due April 7th. We are excited about this litter, it is a repeat breeding with Charlie and we are looking forward to a gorgeous basketfull of puppies. Jasmine was also to bred to our Charlie as well, this is their first breeding together, so we are quite excited. Jasmine is due approx April 20th, if she holds off until the 22nd she will be having them on her birthday, how special will that be. These litters are currently spoken for unless we end up with a surprise puppy or two. However, my vet has been right with every ultrasound she has done. In the meantime, we are enjoying the short time we have left with Maya & Sherman. Maya will be going to her new home on March 27th, and Sherman Easter weekend.
Maya & Sherman
Maya is turning into quite the little doll, the light was shining right into her eyes putting of a glare. She loves to run and do the zoomies. She has the cutest little antics and moves. Maya loves my adults and would love to join in their play time but I am a bit cautious, one on one is ok, but not with the group, she is just so little yet.

Ella's big day!!!!
Another heartbreaking day at Cotton Blossoms, our sweet little Ella left for her new home. She is quite the little doll with a personality to match. I did receive an update, she did very well on her 6 hour journey to her new home. I look forward to all the updates and pictures as continues to grow and mature.

Tucker's Big Day - He is going home
Tucker left for his new home yesterday, these are the last pictures we took of him. I love the one of Chloe saying goodbye to her boy. I cannot ask for a better mom, her daughter Sassy, who is due in a few weeks has the same motherly instinct. As the table turns, now I will look forward to all the updates I receive as Tucker settles into his new home, and as he grows and matures. I cannot explain how it melts my heart to open my email and see an email regarding one of my puppies, receiving a quick update and pictures. The look on the puppies faces, as you can see how much they are loved and well cared for makes all the pain of letting them go that much easier.
The puppies are 10 wks old
The time is winding down now and they will all be leaving the nest. They are all such good babies, quiet as a mouse. They all seem to have good appetites and eat very well. Ella & Maya are petite girls while the boys are built like boys. Each are unique in their personalities Ella the little lover girl, Maya just as precious as can be, she seems to be able to entertain herself. Tucker, such a happy little guy, he is the one who would smile the most and didn't have a problem hamming it up for the camera. Sherman is a mellow boy, he has to be separated when it is mealtime or he will eat it all. He is quite the hoover. As allows we will be sad to see them go. However, the upside is seeing the look on each families faces when they come to pick their puppy up and take them home.

Chloe & her babies
Chloe is really a fantastic mother. She NEVER tires of her babies, taking care of them during the day and each night before bedtime, I say she tucks them in because she makes sure they are all nice and clean each night. Usually when the puppies reach 8 weeks old we start to get them used to not having "mama" with them. We want the transition to their new homes to go smoothly. They will have slept in crates separately as well. We have less than a week and Tucker will be leaving the nest to join his new family and then Ella, Maya and Sherman. Yes, it will be a sad time for us, as each puppy holds such a special place in our hearts, but the joy on the new families faces when the day finally arrives for them to pick up their new bundle of joy makes it a little easier. I don't know where the time goes, it seems like the wait in anticipation of the expected litter takes an eternity, and once the puppies are born the 10 wks fly by and before we know it is time for the puppies to leave the nest to join their new families.
